In a significant move toward grassroots economic transformation, the Member of Parliament for Mbeere North, Hon. Leo Wa Muthende, has issued a call for residents to take advantage of the Uwezo Fund. This initiative specifically targets Registered Women, Youth, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Groups within the constituency, aiming to provide the financial “uwezo” (ability) needed to scale up businesses and improve livelihoods.
The announcement focuses on three key wards: Evurore, Nthawa, and Muminji. If you are a member of a registered self-help group in these areas, this is your golden opportunity to secure interest-free capital to kickstart or expand your entrepreneurial dreams.
