Australia Bush Fires

The end of last year marked the end of the hottest decade ever recorded in history according to the United Nations.2016 in particular was the warmest calendar year with an average of 0.63 degrees Celsius above the average and the trouble is far from over.

Since the beginning of 2020, Australia which is notorious for bush fires has been hit by these ravaging fires for days on end.Despite efforts by the fire department and even incorporating the military, the fires are still relentlessly wrecking havoc in that part of the South Pacific.

The biggest casualties have been animals to a large extent considering they inhabit the vast majority of the bush.Sad pictures of shaken up kangaroos and koala bears known to be Australia’s grand heritage have taken a big blow as well as have other animals in the forests.People have also been left at the mercy of choking fumes, high temperatures and razing fires that have made their new year a true definition of hell on earth.Luckily though, only a few humans have been confirmed dead and a few more injured by the menace mostly due to early warning systems(Australia is a developed nation) and the fast response of fire brigades and the military.

Property however estimated to be in the millions of Dollars including houses and livestock has however not been so lucky as the flames spread like hellfire.People from all over the country are meeting up with supplies to feed the animals that have no more pasture especially the roos, koala bears and livestock.

Over half a billion animals are feared dead and many more injured in the worst bush fire ever experienced in Australia.Fundraisers, charities , volunteers , extra fire fighters and knitted blankets for the animals have all come in handy in dealing with the worst spectacle of fire ever witnessed on earth.Your prayers, words of encouragement or material help may also go a long way in helping ease this folks and animals out.Let’s stand together with Australia.
